I see Gloucester Docks is full of silt again and needs dredging. I had a flat in the Gloucester Docks for 14 years and the cost of the dredging exercise always amazed me. It always seemed illogical to pump the silted River Severn into the docks with no effort to remove the silt. Major pump sets pump this water so why not add hydrocyclones to remove the silt. I even wrote the attached paper back in 2022 to try and get both the Canal and River Trust along with Dyson interested in such a project. So lets try again to get some interest in such a project using the power of Social Media. Banno
